WELCOME TO
Pineapple House
About this space
Located in the heart of English Harbour, just above the Antigua Yacht Club with views of Superyachts in Falmouth Harbour, Pineapple House - Crew House offers various Queen and Twin-size beds with mosquito nets for solo adventurers, who do not mind sharing a room and bathroom with crew on charter yachts. Close to nightlife, public transport, Pigeon Point beach, Nelson's Dockyard, you’ll love Pineapple House for the views, the West Indian architecture, and the party life.
The space
Because we reserve Pineapple House Crew House for walk-in reservations, we cannot list this cottage on Insta-book. Please email us to check availability and make reservations. The Crew House accommodates a maximum of eight guests, dormitory-style, but four guests are typical.....
Although the Crew House has four Queen beds that are dormitory-style, located in various alcoves around the house, offering some privacy, it offers more privacy than the beds on the verandah of the main house, because it is open to only those guests staying in it, whereas the beds on the verandah are located in the main lobby, where people come and go at whim.
Because the Crew House has many rooms and beds, this house is a great option for a large group of four to eight guests.
Not only is the bathroom at the Crew house shared by guests staying in the cottage itself, but it is also shared by guests staying in the Annex. The shower has no hot water, but there is an outside shower nearby, which helps with flow and is particularly useful after visits to the beach.
WiFi is available in the main house only.
All beds have mosquito nets, which tuck in, in order for them to work.
The Crew House has a very basic private kitchen with a fridge, sink, stovetop, pots, and pans. Guests staying at the Crew House usually use the kitchen in the main house as well, and people do cook quite a lot at Pineapple, as restaurant costs add up... There's a grocery store nearby at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina.
Located on a steep hillside, the Pineapple House property has lots of stairs.
The Crew House at Pineapple House is open from late October to late May annually. Come stay with us!
Guest access
Guests are welcome to walk the paths that meander through the gardens and private guest houses on the property. Mango, guava, banana, and avocado trees grow on the 3 hillside acres that we have here. The lobby of the main house is open to all guests; this is where we congregate for parties and sundowners in the evening. It's also where guests go online to use the internet. We welcome guests to relax and lounge here any time of day. The gazebo is a little hut near the front gate that has a roof, seating, table, and electrical sockets that offers a little more privacy for telephone calls and internet service. Various outdoor showers are dotted here and there. Pineapple House has a stand up paddle board, which guests are welcome to use to paddle around Falmouth Harbour. Although we use the lobby of the main house for sundowners and parties in the evening, guests should be aware that the main house sometimes doubles as sleeping areas for various friends and guests.
Other things to note
There is no TV or air conditioning at Pineapple House.
Guests are invited for sundowners at the main house each evening.
All the cottages are open to the wind, and mosquitos do make their way in. Each bed has a mosquito net, fan, and reading light, and there is a Mosquito Magnet in the yard, which we rebait every three weeks.
Guests are asked to use water sparingly, as water is scarce on the island.
Pineapple House has wonderful ocean views, but there are lots of stairs; we are located on a steep hillside....
Pineapple House caters primarily to couples; dormitory-style beds are available for individuals in the main house.
Internet is available in the main house and gazebo only; we welcome guests to use the service in the main house any time.
We are open from October to May.
