King Benji is an explorer yacht designed to travel to the most remote places or vibrant hotspots. It comfortably cruises the ocean and calmly idles in any bay. With the 40ft Nortech speed boat, you can quickly reach your desired destination. Spend your summer cruising the Mediterranean, visiting Italy, Croatia, and France, or escape the winter in St. Barts and the Caribbean. King Benji’s explorer pedigree ensures no destination is out of reach.

King Benji was designed quickly because both the owner and designer, Greg Marshall, share a passion for adventure. They envisioned a low-footprint yacht with real exploration capability, able to carry large tenders and submarines. The yacht is sub-500 GT, offering ease of cruising, and its small draft allows navigation in low-accessibility areas. The aft deck features a 10-ton crane and can carry various equipment, including a large tender, helicopter, submarine, jet skis, and explorer land vehicles. The yacht can be fully self-sustainable with provisions containers if needed.

King Benji integrates the outside and inside seamlessly with 10 large sliding doors and flush sills, creating no separation between indoor and outdoor spaces. This connection to the environment required exemptions from classification and flag state. The yacht features interactive dining spaces, such as a galley that opens to the breakfast bar and a teppanyaki bar on the bridge deck. These spaces allow guests to interact with the chef and enjoy a culinary experience.

The yacht is equipped for adventure, with smart storage solutions for toys like a slide and rock-climbing wall. Each level has an outdoor-accessible day head, convenient for guests coming from diving. The bow pool can be hot or cold, or split for both, providing therapy options.

King Benji is designed to be livable with durable and sustainable materials. Fabrics from companies with strong environmental credentials and reclaimed timber are used throughout the yacht. The yacht's interior features luxurious yet sustainable materials, ensuring comfort and elegance.

The idea for King Benji began when the owner expressed his desire for an explorer yacht to his ex-captain, Steve Lopez. After an extensive search, they found inspiration in the McMullen and Wing 45m explorer yacht, Big Fish. Despite Big Fish not being for sale, the owner contacted designer Greg Marshall. In a quick meeting, they designed King Benji, sharing a vision for a modern explorer yacht.

King Benji embodies the spirit of adventure and luxury, offering a unique and unforgettable yachting experience.
