Laura Lander Prior to yachting, Laura worked at two prestigious 5* game lodges in the Sabi Sands in South Africa; Singita and Ulusaba. From there followed a 15-year career at sea, working as chief stewardess/ interior manager / purser aboard superyachts such as M/Y Princess Mariana, M/Y Octopus, M/Y Tatoosh, M/Y Sunrays, M/Y Pelorus, M/Y Golden Odyssey and M/Y Ace.
Lauren Norton is a yachting veteran of 12 years. She spent 9 years working as the chief stewardess aboard M/Y GU and M/Y Madam Gu. She has been a trainer for the British Butler’s Institute of London since 2017, travelling around the world to deliver training to private households, yachts, 5-star hotels and royal palaces. As a former student herself she feels privileged to be able to share with others the fine art of being a butler in the British Style.

Super Yachting South Africa’s Deckhand Training Division was created in 2008 by experienced Captain and SYSA co-founder, Jason Hunter and has grown to become one of the global leaders in superyacht training and the Academy holds Royal Yachting Association (RYA) accreditation.

At the beginning of 2020, Laura teamed up with Lauren at Trilogy Luxury Training to offer training for senior stewardesses and the online senior stewardess programme was developed. She is thrilled to be able to share the skills she has learnt over the years with future chief stewardesses in the yachting industry
In 2018 Lauren opened Trilogy Luxury Training in Durban North, South Africa. Lauren has a passion for what she does and loves to share her knowledge with others to help them achieve in their roles while inspiring them to always strive to deliver the highest standards.
Sandra has several yachting career highlights, including managing an 8-month refit as a purser, hosting royalty, presidents, celebrities and oligarchs on board (requiring extensive protocols), working at a yacht management company in Monaco, successfully completing a 72 day continuous Russian charter (with no preference sheets), navigating to the most remote corners of the earth and forging the most incredible friendships along the way.
